CERTIFICATE III IN BUSINESS
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. It is likely that these individuals are establishing their own work performance.
Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgement, and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.
This qualification will be delivered over 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 4 terms of 10 weeks each and 12 weeks of holidays.
Australian Global College has the following entry requirements:
Domestic students must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
- Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs.
- Have language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skill sufficient to complete the course, for example, to read materials relevant to the course, participate in discussions and roleplays and apply numerical concepts such as time management. This will be tested through a LLN assessment as part of the course entry process. Students will need to achieve ACSF level 2 for reading, writing, numeracy, and oral communication to enter the course.
Potential employment options are in a range of business roles in a range of industry areas. Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or a range of Certificate IV qualifications.
Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credits may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course.
