This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
BSB60420 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

This qualification will be delivered over 65 weeks, including 50 weeks of training and assessment spread over 5 terms of 10 weeks each and 15 weeks of holidays.

This program is delivered on 20 hrs face to face per week.

Domestic Students

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Students wishing to enroll in BSB60420 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management must have:
    • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent version), OR
    • Two years of full-time equivalent relevant employment experience in an operational or leadership capacity in a business.
Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN)

Skills sufficient to complete the course are required, including the ability to:

  • Read course materials
  • Participate in discussions and roleplays
  • Apply numerical concepts such as time management

International Students

  • Must be 18 years old or over.
  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Minimum English proficiency scores:
    IELTS: 5.5
    TOEFL: 46
    PTE: 42
    CAE: 47
    OET: Pass
    Or equivalent
  • Students wishing to enroll in BSB60420 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management must have:
    • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent version), OR
    • Two years of full-time equivalent relevant employment experience in an operational or leadership capacity in a business.
