This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

This qualification will be delivered over 65 weeks, including 50 weeks of training and assessment spread over 5 terms of 10 weeks each and 15 weeks of holidays

This program is delivered on 20 hrs face to face per week..

Australian Global College has the following entry requirements:

Domestic students:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • *Students wishing to enroll in BSB60420 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management must have a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent version). Alternatively, have two years of full-time equivalent relevant employment experience in an operational or leadership capacity in a business.

Language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skill sufficient to complete the course, for example, to read materials relevant to the course, participate in discussions and roleplays and apply numerical concepts such as time management.

International students:

  • Must be 18 years old or over.
  • Completed year 12 or equivalent.
  • Minimum score of 5.5 – IELTS, 46 – TOEFL, 42 – PTE, 47 CAE, OET Pass, score or equivalent.
  • *Students wishing to enroll in BSB60420 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management must have a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent version). Alternatively, have two years of full-time equivalent relevant employment experience in an operational or leadership capacity in a business.

Potential employment options are in leadership and management roles in a range of industry areas.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into higher education qualifications in leadership and management.

Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course.
